I have a 8.8" 3.27:1 track-loc with a cast iron housing. Somehow it came stock behind a 3.8L (non-SC) engine so its in good shape.

My buddy has a 93 SC with a 5spd and wants to get rid of his 2.73 gears. I said I could sell the 2.73 diff and he could pay me the difference in value. What do you guys think this 3.27 diff would get at auction?

327 trac loc rear in an iron case, worth about 100 bucks give or take a few bucks.

Depends on the condition of the diff and miles on it of course.

Any used diff you are going to want to have it gone though anyways.

I'm open to offers but I may not able to delivery for up to a week because it still in his car. And by the way the SC has 78k original miles.

The ring/pinion/spiders are in perfect shape and the clutches are very tight. 92k miles.

I was thinking more along the lines of $200. Maybe I should keep it.
