What exactly is the difference between these clear corners on E-bay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97-FORD-Thunderbird-Cougar-EURO-CLEAR-Corner-Lights_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33708QQihZ019QQitemZ290035217952QQrdZ1

and these corners on supercoupeperformance.com

http://supercoupeperformance.com/partBrowser.aspx?PartID=296

I mean the ones on e-bay are half the price with the shipping included, while the ones on SCP are $60.00. Plus the ones on E-bay are SAE/DOT approved while the ones on SCP says they are not.

Any info would be great

first clear corners i got from ebay had one of them leaking water during rain
i had to replace it later on at my own expence
my guess quality would be the answer for the difference?
im sure if you test them for leaks ebay seller will replace the broken one IF that happence. you might have no problems at all.
the once i bought look very clean as well
i hope that helps!

I've heard several people talk about the poor quality from the corners off eBay (i.e. leak during rain, leak during washing the car, some have even complained they crack much easier, etc).

I bought the corners I have from SCP so I'd recommend Bill (SCP).

'eg0r' is right....quality is the difference. I've had my clear corners on for 3-4 months and they still look as good as the day I put them on my Cat.

I got mine on Ebay about a year ago. Never had any problems with them whatsoever. My biggest problem is keeping the headlights looking as clear as the corners!
