Hey guys I am kind of new to TCCOA and had a question about what size tires would fit on my new rims.

I have a 1996 cougar I just lowered the car 1.25" I have 17x8 Offset: +30mm (1.18") and 17x9 Offset: +24mm (0.94") I will also be running 12mm adpaters.

I was thinking about using 275/50/17 and 245/45/17 would I have any rubbing issues or any other problems with this setup?

From what I have seen adapters are frowned upon here I would like to do a full break and hub swap but I cannot afford any more down time with my car nor do I have the money at the moment.

I would like to have a staggered look is there any other options for this look with it not sticking out as much with this setup?

If not how much do you think it would be sticking out on the font and back sides?

If you're talking about bolt pattern adapters, they will be a lot more than 12 mm thick ... more likely 25 to 30 mm thick. If you are looking at spacers, you won't need them with the wheel offsets you plan to use.

cheers
