The ones like on my car and my avitar are from a 2002+ explorer. I picked the pair up for 11 bucks on ebay but they have since gone up. They are plastic and mount using sticky tape just like the factory Thunderbird/ Cougar V8 badges.

might leave some residue you'll have to rub off but other than that it's smooth sailing.

clear nail polish remover (acetone) works tons better than paint thinner. It will work but will take a lot more rubbing.

Now, I would like to go the route of getting a spoiler, rims, the badges, and maybe lowering it, but since I have a champaigne Cougar with the special anniversary rims, shouldn't I take off my v8 badges and leave it stock? That would give me a major sleeper look, and I wouldn't get classified as a ricer- depending on what rims I get. Also, I would be able to put a lot more money into mods for performance.

The 4.6 supercharged emblems are all over eBay. They also have 4.6 turbocharged and 4.6 nitrous injected. I think they only come in red and blue.
