Systems Support Technician for a tri-county technical college in upstate of South Carolina. Pretty vague job description, but it would be too long to say Wireless, Fiber, CAT5, Router, Switch, Distance Learning, PC, Printer, Software, Operating Systems, "reboot and call me if it still doesn't work" specialist. I guess Systems Support Technician does pretty well sum it up :)

Webmaster for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I'm in charge of the Website, Intranet and administering the web servers. I have a total site overhaul coming up and they're sending me to school soon. Also do some side web projects.

And I'm not one of those web people that can't fix their own computer ;)

Hey we are in similar fields! I am a Consumer Training Specialist. Basically my partner (a Psychologist) and I go all over KS. We observe a dually diagnosed consumer (Dually diagnosed = At least one Mental Illness + at least one Developmental Disability) and help the team that works with that person to write a behavior program that all can live with. I used to work at Rainbow Mental Health Facility in Kansas City. I like this MUCH better! :D

We're just getting our blade server up and running and I'm going for websphere administration and development soon :)

I can imagine they are, especially if they are pressure sensitive.. mmmmm. Hopefully your training will be better than my cold fusion training *yawn*. It didn't help that the instructor wasn't the easiest to understand "Open da dar see eff emm fiwe."

Well for the past 3 years I was a teachers assistant in a pre-school.

But as of now, I can't work there because I am doing my student teaching for college. Thats right, I plan on becoming a general/special education teacher.

Sept-Oct. I will be in a 5th grade class 5 days a week, Oct-Dec. I will be in a 2nd grade class 5 days a week.

While I'm student teaching I will also be taking 4 courses at night.

I now have to find a weekend job.

Cold Fusion rules! It's just so easy (though understanding your teacher helps...) I was more than happy to run in to it again here.

And at least when I go to training, I'll have already done the install once, so I won't be going in totally lost. I have to wait till my welding class is over before I do websphere (totally un work related ;))

Yeah, very easy, a few new tags, ho-hum. Oh well the company wanted to pay for it and I got half a week off work to go. About the only thing I got out of that class was how cool homesite is. I still don't like dreamweaver.

THANK YOU!!! I'm not alone...

Homesite=friend, Dreamweaver=Enemy

I hand code just about everything I do except Java Script on super easy things that I usually make with imageready

Classified staff in the special ed department at a high school. It doesn't pay much, it's by no means glamorous, but it makes me happy.
