WHERE IS IT?
-It is usually located on the Air filter box

WHAT IS IT?
-It measures incoming Air Temprature so the ECC can change spark timing and fuel injectors to compensate for different Air tempratures for better engine performance.

CAN IT BE FAULTY?
-quite possibly, ANYTHING can fail at anytime, what problems are you experiancing?

car stalls when it is pulled into drive first few times when engine is cold. When engine is cold( in drive), and i'm at a stop , idle surges from 450 rpm up to about 800 rpm. When the engine heats up, it runs really well. it is not the IAC, cause i've replaced that, the MAF is clean too. The engine coolant temp sensor is also brand new, and one oxygen sensor has been replaced. None of these make any difference. No check engine light, and no codes either (checked with a snap-on tester)
Thanks for your help.
