I tried the Speed Limiter removal trick that is located in the Tech Articles section, problem is, I don't know where my E.E.C. is!!! I took off the glove box door and there was a little black box with like, 7 (I think) wires coming out of it and I didn't see a wire that matched the one I'm supposed to install the switch into. Any suggestions???

What year car and engine do you have? If you have a '94-'95 4.6 (i think 3.8 sc also) or '96-newer (any engine), thay little "trick" does not work, and never will. Get a chip, more expensive, but makes one much happier.

He has an EEC-IV which it supposedly has worked on. I still say that article needs to get deleted rather quickly though. That and the MAF gutting one and other "bad info" ones.

That's the name! Kickpanel!

That's the place to look..
Haven't had mine out yet but i guess the best
way is to unscrew the screws..... :p
:D

Seriously though...
You should have a plastic thing almost on the middle of it...
One of those... "Pull once and you won't get it back... "
But it will... Then it's just to look for screws...
Bend carefully to see where they are... if any...
As I said... Haven't checked my T-bird out yet so...
