I've got the cougar and the mark. I've got a 3.73 locker diff sittin and I'm not sure which car I want to drop it in. The cougar is completely rebuilt, (see sig) and it should be one HELL of a runner. The mark (85k miles) on the other hand has power out of the box and might like the change from 3.07s (yes, seven, not eight). Anyway, which do you think would be better to place the diff in?

Well..... What do you do with each?

I'd put the 3.73's in the one that you plan on driving the most from a performance standpoint.

As an example, I usually just drive my Mark on trips, vacations, and the like. So my 3.73's will be going in my T'Bird.

Which has posi now? Either?

From what everyone on the Mark VIII. org board says, they like the 4.10's for the DOHC since it seems to like the higher rpm.

Just my .02.
