I need to replace these. I have the correct bearings, and stopped driving the car soon after I realized what the problem was. Total mileage since I realized the problem can't be more that 150 mi, so hopefully the knuckle itself survived.

Can I just take the knuckles to any machine shop, or should I go to Ford and pay a dealership for this?

Go to a machine shop. It is an easy job for them. If you were on this side of the state I would do them for you but I dont think that would make for a practical trip.

What's a hub tamer? Is that like a hub shark? It pulls the bearing out with a jack screw?

Oh and thank you to tbirdbrain also, I'll just go to a machine shop down the street from my work.
