usually the tire maker will make recomendations for max and min wheel width. Check the tire rack, I know they have that info.

Even if it does fit...be prepared to roll your rear fender lips if you haven't already.

widest on 17x9...

I have seen a 315/35 on a Cobra R rim and it looked sweet.I have 275/40s on the back and will get the 315/35 next time I get tires,well,actually later when I need that much rubber on the road,which might be soon.

after seeing that pic I have one question. You want to go W I D E R?!

an inch and a half is too much to make up for with a 35 series tire. I would consider it dangerous.

maybe just buy two for track duty?

i was just wondering if it was at all possible. my friend is selling his cobra R's off his SHO, so maybe ill pickup those and see if they mount, who knows. you cant beat free tires, and thats what they were.
