Ok like the tittle says. I have seen ! member post that he ran 275 60 r15's and only had the centers wear fast. I need new tires now. I found a deal for these tires cooper cobra tires 275 60 R15 for $100. Like new condition. I was wonder if I would have any clearance problems, or should I buy some tires that are the stock size. This car is my daily driver. I like the 20- 22 mpg I get and I don't want to compromise that with to big of a tire. I do drive my T-bird hard. In other words if a turn says 45mph I try to take it at 60mph or till the tires squeel a little. I love the way these cars handel for being a full sized car. I don't want to put my car or anyone else at risk if this tire is to big and could fail due to premature wear. Any help sugestion ect would be great.

Also has anyone ever delt with discountedwheelwarehouse.com before. I found cooper tires on their at a good price. Any help would be great.

Thanks John

If your like me and like the twisties your not gonna want to go with the 275 on the stock rim, its just too wide 235/245 60/15 on the other hand would be a more desireable size for your particular intentions. Hope that helps, and what color is your bird I've had to have seen it runnin around

My bird is Black it is fairly clean. Typical rust hid by some vynal. LOL You might have seen my other rides also. I have the white 04 Mach 1 with the tinted windows and loud exhaust, The crappy tan 81 F-150 with the body about half gone, or the rerest car around. LOL it's an 83 Mercury Capri L. I have only seen 3 other Capris in the area 1 is in Loda 1 is north of Hoopeston ( haven't seen it for a while tho) 1 in Rankin ( I haven't seen it it 1 year) I know the 1 in Loda should still be around, the other 2 I think have moved on. If you ever see me stop and say hi. Always willing to shoot the crap with anyone.

Thanks for the advice on tire size I'll check into those too.

John
