Hell yes!

I ran the AED kit with the following mods:

STOCK airbox
STOCK exhaust manifolds
STOCK cats (all three)
STOCK 12" Torque converter
STOCK 3.27:1 gears
STOCK 1995 ROMEO 4.6L 2V engine
STOCK driveshaft

I used Borla "cat-back" exhaust, a FRPP 70mm throttle body, FRPP 30 lb./hr. injectors, a custom dyno tune from Fordchip, no fmu, various 4R70W upgrades, a K&N panel air filter, an 80mm L-MAF, and no silencer (for those who care).

I even made a 13.84 @ 101 mph pass on B.F. Goodrich Comp T/A 225/55 ZR-16 tires.

I ran low 13's with a smaller blower pulley, an 11.25" Mark VIII/GT TC, 3.73:1 gears and 235 B.F. Goodrich Drag Radials. EECDOC turned 12's with a similar set-up, a best of 12.69 @ 107.70 mph.

Yes, 13's will be easy. It's in the tune and traction.

Johnny,

That is very true.

Moore89,

Johnny is right. He, Mike V., KDanner, and a few others have touched 13's naturally aspirated. It should be super easy with a blower.

I saw Eric Z. and Dave run low, low 14's naturally aspirated with even less parts. Both have PI heads and cams though.

Thanks for all the replies, I believe i will go with this setup then. it may take me a little while to get this all together however (I believe my origonal budget i set myself flew out the window $4000). I am going to wait until i can get everything at the same time and put it all on at one time. then surprise the s&!t out of the local mustangs at the track. Now I need to find a place that does dyno tunes. With the exhaust i was planning on running catless what parts do i need so not to throw codes? and the shop is going to do compresion bent 2.5" pipes will that choke the exhaust to much with a blower? And does anyone know what the biggest size Mickey Thomson sportsmans I can fit in the back on 95 super coupe rims?

if you get a dyno tune they can turn off the CEL that will come off when u remove tha cats
so u have to drive around with the light on till the tune and they can fix that or u can buy thouse Mil eliminators or whatever i dont have any links to where they sell em but e bay should have em ect.

Hey A-Train, how quick dumb question. How much money do i need to ¿Save? to get a AED?? I heard that the AED is better than the vortech. Now, i know i dont have 3000 for the vortech, so let's say a used AED. :D Thanks man...

Moore89,

I ran a 13.4 with a stock 80,000 mile non PI motor with just the 6psi AED kit with the stock injectors, FMU, no tune, FRPP 3.73 rear end, true dual 2.5 inch exhaust with h-pipe, and street rolling stock. The video is in the multimedia section, so I think that its definitely possible to run 13,s with just a blower and some good track skills. Oh and I did all that without removing half the car and with the heat on:uppoint:

You can get O2 sims from dallas mustang parts, I have been running them for a year now and havent had a problem with any codes with no cats. Oh and my exhaust is compression bent too so it doesent flow as well as mandrel bent but it dosent cost as much either, trust me it wont cause any probs for you.

My .02 cents,

Nick
