Would the turbo & related parts from an 89 T-coupe be strong/efficient/large enough to work on a mild 5.0 liter Ford V-8 or is the T-coupe unit to small?
thanks in advance

well, in 89, there wasnt a turbo coupe, it was a supercoupe, the last year for the turbo coupe was 88

as for the turbo from a turbo coupe on a 5.0, its WAY too small, the 87-88 turbos are actually kinds small even for the 2.3L

head over to turbomustangs.com and do some reading, they have awesome information

Remember that the turbo coupes have 2 different sizes of turbos, the auto has the .48/46 and the manual have the bigger size turbos, .63/.68 (if Im not mistaken). Get two from a manual coupe and you'll be fine.
