OK, first off, it's a lot easier if you're in timeline mode, so if you look on the screen when you first pull up moviemaker, it should say either "Show storyboard" or "Show timeline" on one of the icons toward the left center of the screen. Click it until you're in timeline mode.

If you've already imported the clip, drag it down onto the timeline. You should see both the video and audio lines fill up a certain amount of time on the "timeline." Then you can do a right click on the audio portion and mute it. You can import audio/music into movie maker, then drag it down into the timeline wherever you want it. Hopefully, you will now have audio with your clip.
