I'm having a problem with the windshield wiper switch. In order for my windshield wipers to come on, I have to put pressure on the rotary style switch. Sometimes I can get the wipers to stay on after applying pressure to the switch, but if I hit the turn signal the wipers stop working again.
I know it's an electrical problem where the switch terminal and wires are not making contact unless I force them to by applying pressure. Anyone ever had to change out the entire wiper/turn signal lever assembly? I wonder if I can just make a simple repair and avoid doing this or would it be easier to just swap it out with a junkyard part?
Any help or suggestions would much appreciated.

Thanks
