went to the store and when i left to come home it was raining and when i turned the wipers on the worked, but had an awful grinding noise sounded as if in the dash, but pretty sure its the wipers as it only does it when i turn them on and stop when i turn them off. but theyre still working fine other than the grinding noise, so im assuming theyre going out and i guess are they available at most auto parts stores and how to you replace it?

Yea, I believe you can get the motor at most auto parts. You have to remove the cowl trim to get access to the motor, which has three bolts if I remember correctly. Take care with the three bushings that hold the motor in place they are no longer produced and very hard to fine. Also take care with removing your cowl plastic they break easy.. Good Luck.
