lately i have been noticing a vibration in my car. It only occurs occasionally. I can sometimes make it happen by going up a hill at about 30 mph/1100 rpm.. and barely pushing on the gas. just pushing the gas enough to maintain the 30/1100 range. The vibration almost feels like i am running over those multiple speed bumps before a stop sign. it feels like it is vibrating from the backend. although i can make it do it, it has happened while on the highway or while accelerating. any thoughts of what it could be? it worries me a little. any help is greatly appreciated..

If it feels like running over a washboard in the road, then its probably torque converter shudder caused by transmission fluid breakdown.

Change your fluid over to Mercon V (make sure you drain the transmission and refill as per the tccoa tech article)

That usually solves the problem.

I would also add a tranny cooler. You don't want to forget to drain the t/c either.
