Hello, I just bought a 96 T-Bird and noticed the odo doesn't work which I noticed is pretty common. I went to my local pick n pull and tried to take the gear out of a 93 but had difficulty without almost breaking the entire piece and notices that gear was already broken too. I'd rather get either the entire cluster or just the odo/trip/speedo piece if someone is willing to sell just that. I'd like to see what's available for shipping to 23453, Virginia Beach, VA. When the odometer broke in my '95 many years ago, I bought a replacement instrument cluster at the local junkyard. It lasted a short while until the replacement odometer failed, too. So I replaced the gears and it has worked fine since. I suggest your best course of action is to get the replacement gears and tackle the fix yourself. Mine was the first time trying a fix like that and it worked, so it can't be too hard.
A 97 was the only MN12 I found this year, saw it of the junkyard’s website and the dash pieces were all mint, got there and someone already used some sort of giant prybar to rip off the radio bezel to get the climate control head (which they cut the pigtails off of rather than, you know, unplug them) and trashed both the edges of both cluster bezel and console top in the process. Do better!

Trust me, I do my best to not damage anything that I'm not taking for myself. When I looked at the cluster for the '93 at my junkyard, the bezel was already removed and the torx screws holding the cluster in place were already exposed. I just had a hard time removing the speedo needle to disconnect the back piece to show the gears that needed replacing once I got it, I saw the gears were already broken. I put everything back together before I left.
