Just thought I'd share that my Cougar decided to roll over 100K miles over New Years. Not sure if its a milestone or not. But it is to me.

Proly a TC shudder, as for the tranny, get a trans-cooler to keep the temps down. Doubles the life. :thumbsup:

well....considering 100K on her, she's doing pretty good. Nothing major *knock on wood* with it really. She's been a great car. She'll be out at the meet next weekend.

mine is still at 84k, but it has the AOD, my moms cougar has the 4r70w and it wont shift out of 2nd by itself. That one has 145k but it has done it since 112k

Yawn, Amateurs.

And this is after I ran it for a year with broken odometer gears. It quit at 177,892 I fixed it in February of last year. Still going strong. My secret? Lots and Lots of oil changes!

My tranny shifts had on my 87 t bird im not sure if its the tranny or the rear because it sorta sounds like the rear....

I drove my dads Sable for 3/4 of 210K until it finally said see ya with a deer up and over the hood.
