1993 Ford Thundbird LX "Blend Door Actuator"

Hi everyone, I'm new to this group since I recently purchased a 1993 Ford Thunderbird with 69,000 miles on it. It's a beautiful car and the blender door actuator isn't working which has been confirmed by my mechanic. The problem is that I can't find the blender door actuator for my car...I've searched and searched and no luck. I need this fixed so I can use my defrost and heat. The part number is F1SZ 19E616-A. Any help I would deeply appreciate it.

From what I recall, the blend door on the 89-93 was cable actuated by the HVAC control slider. If the door arm itself is broken, the dash would need to be removed to repair, and the only replacement parts would come from a junk yard.
