hello, I purchased my 94th Thunderbird a couple months ago and so far I have put 373 gears with the policy and lowering Springs on it. I am from PA and I was looking on getting wheels, but I am not sure which ones I should get without switching the hubs for now and also how to get rid of the governor

Yes, 3.73 gears in a '94 will need a tune. I think you could have gotten by with 3.55's but would still have a very low governor. That thing has to have very awkward (too early) shifting, no?

What is the policy? Robot much?

The shifting is not terrible. It is a little weird in first but it’s not terrible and do you know how to get rid of the governor that stops the pedal for going over 104 and what kind of wheels do you have on yours?

You also need a tune to correct the shifting. And the 105 MPH is the stock governor. With those 3.73's, you have to be down to around 88 MPH, no?

A lot of people on here do the Mustang hub swap, for more wheel options. I'm not a "wheels" guy, so to me it seems excessive.
