just got finished reading through some articles on this site... wondering what thermostat to run?
I used to hear this but never really believed it. I have 320,000 miles on my 1993 2.3L Ranger. I have personally driven 313,000 of those miles. The best way to warm it up has always been to get in it and drive it. Granted, I don't beat it while it is cold but putting a load on the motor warms it fastest....Idiots that start there vehicles up in the cold and decide to take off without letting it warm up for at least 3 minutes wreck havoc on cylinder walls...
