I just put my 94 cougar on the road. I did put in a new rad support ,Left front fender ,and hood. So I took it to work today. The passenger side front wheel makes a nasty squeaking sound. Sitting still if I push down on the right front I get the squeak, Turning the wheels and the right front squeaks. So what could it be? I don't think wheel bearing. Maybe ball joints or bushings. Something else in there?

Ok I took the passenger front wheel off and did some checking. Come to find out that the lower ball joint boot is toast and the joint is dry. The upper ball joints are new and so are the struts. The sway bar link has cracked boots also. Gonna replace the ball joint and the sway bar links. I used the grease gun and coated the ball joint with grease. That sure did help quiet it down almost no squeaks now. Gonna put a new lower ball joint in on Mon.

I got it done today. The passenger side lower ball joint and the sway bar link. Gonna go clean up my mess and go for a test drive.

Cleaned up the shop and took the Cougar out for a test drive. No more Squeaking. No more pull to the right when I hit the brakes. No hard spot in the steering. The only thing that make any noise are the passenger side front brakes. They squeak when you are on them light. Give them a little more and is stops squeaking.
