What size is the nut for the EGR tube to the header?

I need to find out what size this is. I know its bigger then an inch. I need to tighten it but the engine is all together and its a b*tch to get to. Anyone know what size it is?

well 22mm is smaller then 1" so that cant be right. Its for a 96 if that matters

1 1/16 fits very well. I bought a cheap open end wrench and cut it in half.

Thank you very much. But they make stubby wrenches so you dont have to cut them

But cutting one in half is a good idea too.

That's true but I didn't have time to find a stubby that big and my set only goes to 7/8. I think a set of stubbys for our cars are a MUST have.
