I have a 94 Thunderbird with under 100,000 miles and it had the 10 CD player in the trunk with premium sound. The CD player was working for a while, but suddenly just stopped altogether and I took it to the one place in Houston who can still repair a CD players. Now that I’m examining it, I’ve noticed that the connector seems a little loose.
Tag says F4SF - 14588-BC, connector says E80F-14588-DA.
since removing the unit so it can be looked at my radio has stopped making sound but seems to scan fine.
I will be honest and say I know very little about audio systems in cars, but I am an electrical engineering student so if anyone has expertise/advice/time they can dedicate to helping teach what’s gone wrong I’d greatly appreciate it.
